Dutch Portrait Award update /December Workshops in Ireland
Hi there! Just a little news from the last little while...
Dutch Portrait Prize Update
The Dutch Portrait award exhibition opened on 2 September on a gorgeously sunny day in Slot Zeist! The portraits are, as always, much more rewarding to see in real life rather than on a screen. Wonderful to be included in this shortlist, and in the excellent catalogue of works which has been produced for the event!
Visitors can vote for their favourite portrait and the portrait with the most votes will be awarded a Publieksprijs (public prize) at the same time as the announcement of the main juried prize on 2 November. So do go and enjoy the exhibition and vote (for your favourite, of course!)
December Workshops in Ireland This year I will be giving two workshops in the Schoolhouse for Art in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow; one in Portraiture/Figure and one in Still Life. The Schoolhouse is a thriving workshop and gallery space and I am really looking forward to spending some time there! Please spread the word if you know anyone who might be interested in these workshops.
Galleries/Exhibitions
This summer I have had a small show in Galerie Nakai in Tournus, France, and have shown new work in Ross Fine Art, Ramelton, Ireland. Some pieces are still available in both these galleries.
As ever, thankyou for reading and for your interest in my work. Now back to the studio!.....
