Hi all

Just thought I'd send a gentle reminder that the long awaited Portrait Biennale will be opening this week Thursday!

Opening

The exhibition is in fact open from Wednesday, but the official opening, to which you are most cordially invited, is on Thursday 28th May at 17.30 in Loods 6 KNSMlaan 143 Amsterdam

Come along, bring a friend and enjoy the atmosphere of a huge exhibition space, lots of artists, the opening by Özcan Akyol and music by the Huiskamerband!

Wine tasting

If you can't make the opening, why don't you sign up for the wine tasting on Friday 29th? I'll be there too, and what better way to kick off the weekend?

Symposium

This is a jubilee edition and we have some fantastic guest artists, as well as a symposium for those who like to get their teeth into a subject. This year the question focuses on the role of an artist in a polarised society, moderated by Hans den Hartog Jager.
