The Beach

Just back from painting on the beach in Domburg for the past week during the annual Schildersweek. It's an intense week of painting and socialising with old and new friends. Great to see how others are inspired by this beautiful place.I spent most of it on the beach getting back into outdoor painting mode, which I hadn't done for a while, but it got very hot towards the week, so had to retreat to the woods. It took a while, but I found my groove again, responding to what I saw around me. Here's a sample of the work I made, which is now hanging in the Duingalerie in Domburg all summer.

Now its back to Amsterdam life, whereas really what I wanted most was to spend the rest of the summer there!
